In sailboat racing, the position of tactician assists the skipper in making decisions that result in winning a race. After 40 years in technology and leadership, Dave Long is postioned to help you navigate your way to success by being your tactician.  He has many tools he can use to assure your success.  These tools include executive leadership coaching, mentoring and training for your entire team.  This is all designed to transcend improving individual leadership to creating a leadership culture in your team and company.

Dave is certified by the Maxwell Leadership Team for coaching, speaking and teaching.  He is an Executive Program Leader for Maxwell Leadership as well.

Dave's career started at Bell Labs and moved to Cadre Technologies, Lucent Technologies, Taqua Systems, Tekelec, Mutualink and Lexipol.  These roles not only included technical leadership, but also a strong motivation to help others reach their potential.  Each of these positions included developing classes to influence others for change.  What has been taught to thousands of people over the past 40 years is now the basis of Dave's Leadership Though Teaching.
